Rebel Girl Video

The final design is a short lyric music video to the song “Rebel Girl” by Bikini Kill created by women, for women. This video was created to empower women to take the "revolution" to the streets and stand up for women's issues. This project is related to an area of contemporary practice for visual designers as in 2017, the women's march in DC was the largest single-day protest in U.S. history. We have also seen woman's issues high on the agenda, such as the #meetoo movement. Now is the time to be producing relevant media to support these causes. By using the visual aesthetic and music of third wave feminism in the 90's I linked present woman's action to past.
