Falls Festival 2019 Poster Re-design
Challenge
For this project, I challenged myself to re-design the poster for 2019’s falls festival poster.
Outcome
Instead of the original posters in-your-face eye-catching technicolour (shown below), I wanted to go for a more subdued, retro aesthetic while still drawing the eye. I reference a previous illustration of mine (shown below) in the analogous colour pallet and gradients as well as strong silhouettes to create strong contrast. I chose to depict a beach scene as the locations the festival are held are all near the sea.
