Illustrated Speech Sound Cards

Challenge

The challenge was to create a cohesive set of illustrated sound cards for children’s speech pathology aged 2-3 years old. Each card has an Australian themed subject matter and sound associated with it and share a common visual language including colour palette, form and level of detail. The cards have to be simple and legible enough for children to recognise.

Outcome

The final outcome is a set of playful and practical illustrated sound cards for children.

Scope

The deliverables is a set of 20 cards and a pattern design for the flip side of the cards.
